I am the Team Lead interfacing with project sponsors to make sure that the application we build for them captures all of their business requirements. I am also the lead developer and manage a team of 10 application developers.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the Project analysis and development team.

Conduct feasibility studies, prepare feasibility reports and project proposal reports.

Interfacing and gathering of requirements in every department at all levels in the organization in order to maintain an up to date corporate management information system.

Analyze the requirements of the system to be built and come up with a solution outline.

Develop, maintain, support high quality and cost effective information systems solutions to meet the business requirements.

Plan, coordinate and participates in the reviews of business processes required for application change and new applications necessary for business operations.

Lead Application Developer/Business System Analyst

ZeroLimit is a major Information and Communication Technology service provider in Nigeria specializing in software development, WAN Networking, Telecommunication and computer education.

I was employed here primarily to lead the analysis and development team that executed the Akwa Ibom State government of Nigeria civil service pension automation.

I managed a team made up of a system analyst, 2 graphics designers, 3 networkers, 2 system administrators, a QA personnel, 3 front-end developers, 4 PHP & MySQL developers, 2 database administrators, a system security and risk analyst, 21 data entry personnel for the data center. I reported directly to the Managing Director of the company.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the Project analysis and development team.

Draw out execution plan with team members including the main activities that make up the project and time required for completion of each activity.

Draw out the project budget implementing cost control.

Gather business information from every department in the Akwa Ibom state Ministry of Establishment responsible for the processing of civil service pension and gratuity and prepare an acceptable business requirement document

Analyze the problem to be solved with the team.

Design and develop detailed programs architecture in accordance to the business requirements.

Monitor the progress of the project by holding weekly co-ordination meeting with team members.

Supervise the test running of the application rigorously over the specified period of time for correctness.

Continue to test run the system and respond to the debugging of bugs as reported by the QA personnel, the system security and risk analyst and application users.

My Main Achievements

Was able to study and understand the business procedures during information gathering as it concerns the pension finance and operations of the Ministry of Establishment in record time hence producing a valid business requirement document that was accepted by the project stakeholders.

Resolved all conflicts that arose between the government consultants and the company in the course of the project.

Set up a weekly co-ordination meeting to evaluate the progress of the project.

Recruited all the front end and back end application developers that were part of these team.

Establish a good working relationship between the government workers and our team members and resolved every conflict arising over the course of these project.

Delivered updated report every single week to the MD.

Delivered this project including data entry completion on time and according to budget and expected quality.
